   Title: Weave Poles The Easy Way ¤

I just started teaching my dogs weavepoles - gave up on agility when I got
sick several (!) years ago, and admit the weavepoles were a HUGE
stumbling block.  We had weave chutes and the tippy-weavepoles and the
wires and the whole bit, and none of my dogs ever learned anything about
weave poles except they are confusing and mommy hates them.  Last week I
sat down in my Official Chair and presented Song and Scuba (one at a time)
with two poles and started clicking for an entry.  Soon I was clicking for
an exit (one macaroni ;-D ).  Soon I was clicking for enter-exit-enter.
In ONE session, perhaps 40 minutes for each dog, they were both doing two
macaronis while I sat on my chair, and they both knew more than I had ever
previously taught ANY dog about how to do weave poles.  Think clickers are
slow?  Think clickers don't work?  THINK AGAIN!!
